Pawtner
App Design
Pawtner is a pet adoption platform designed to make the process more transparent, emotional, and user-friendly. I researched the needs of adopters and shelter staff to create a mobile-first solution that highlights pet stories and simplifies the adoption flow. Key features include personalized suggestions, clear criteria, and guided onboarding. The design focuses on empathy, trust, and responsible adoption.

Challenge
I addressed trust gaps between adopters and shelters by clearly communicating pet histories and care details. Balancing emotional storytelling with clean usability required thoughtful content hierarchy. To simplify complex adoption forms, I broke them into digestible, guided steps. I also designed adaptive flows to suit varied users from first-time adopters to veterinarians. Working within a tight four-week timeline, I rapidly iterated wireframes and prototypes based on continuous feedback.
Objective
The goal was to design a compassionate, intuitive, and trustworthy pet adoption platform that bridges the emotional and logistical gaps between animal shelters and potential adopters making the process easier, more transparent, and emotionally engaging for everyone involved.
Results
The final design delivered a thoughtful, user-friendly adoption experience that balances empathy and clarity. Through multiple design iterations and feedback loops, I created a mobile-first solution that simplifies complex adoption steps while building trust. The project strengthened my skills in user research, wireframing, and storytelling demonstrating how UX can solve real emotional and logistical challenges in the adoption process.
